Bahá'í community life revolves around 'The Nineteen Day Feast'. This is a divinely-ordained institution that takes place at the beginning of each Bahá'í month (19 x 19 = 361 + 4). During the Feast (for the soul, the mind and the stomach), the business of the community is considered: the secretary gives a report and all members-including children-are able to discuss matters and to make recommendations.

Holy Days are celebrated and commemorated. There are nine during the year: eight of them relate to dates associated with the lives of the two Central Figures of the Faith. On these days children would normally be absent from school and employed adults from work.

World Religion Day is a celebration that occurs on the third Sunday in January. It has been taking-place for over 50 years, worldwide. Omagh Bahá'í Community has held it every year since 1984. Its objective is to stress the oneness of religion-religion is like a book, with the chapters representing the different dispensations: Hinduism, Buddhism, Zoroastrianism, Judaism, Christianity, Íslám, Bahá'í etc

United Nations commemorative days are frequently celebrated.
